　　创刊于1950年7月的《人民画报》，由毛泽东主席亲笔题写刊名。60多年来，《人民画报》持续不断地用真实生动的图片和文字，向全世界展现中国的发展和变化，因而成为新中国政治、经济、文化、生活诸方面的生动见证。

　　进入新世纪，《人民画报》不断拓展，目前除出版中文《人民画报》、英文《中国画报》、俄文《中国》杂志、韩文《中国》商务杂志、《服饰与美容Vogue》（与Vogue杂志版权合作）、《丝路瞭望》、《中印对话》等刊物以及多语种网络版。近年来，《人民画报》更是走向世界，策划和执行了多个以中外友谊为主题的“美丽中国 美丽世界”系列图片展，向世界说明中国，增进与对象国的相互了解，传播中国声音。

　　从今天起，影像国际网将向您介绍其中的部分展览，带您走进不一样的“双美”展场。

　　“美丽中国 美丽瑞士”图片展在瑞士日内瓦美丽的阿尔卑斯山脚下，有一个热爱和平的国度，瑞士。遥远的亚欧大陆东缘，有一个历史悠久的文明古国，中国。少女峰、马特洪峰，山之峻在瑞士独树一帜。长江、黄河，水之秀在中国如诗如画。朋友贵在相交，也贵在相知。今天，我们选择用图片展示瑞士与中国本真的自然、生动的社会、芬芳的人文。

　　美丽的瑞士和美丽的中国，讲述着美丽的故事。智慧而勤劳的两国人民，用双手建设着美好的生活。

　　2017年1月10日，由中国外文局人民画报社策展的“美丽中国 美丽瑞士”图片展在瑞士日内瓦联合国万国宫举行，展览为期10天。图片展以“美丽中国、美丽瑞士、中瑞友谊、中国建设成就”为主题，选取了100余幅精美图片，展示中瑞两国美丽的自然风光和人文风情，让中瑞两国观众感知两国的大好河山和悠久历史。

　　展览分为“岁月如歌 情深意长”“美丽的山水 智慧的人民” “中国梦 世界梦”三个部分，从多方面讲述中瑞友谊、山水人文及中国举世瞩目的成就。一位观展的瑞士观众说：“展览十分精彩，没有想到我们两个国家有这么多的相近之处。”

　　China Pictorial,which was launched in July 1950, had its masthead inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong. For the past more than six decades, China Pictorial has been introducing the development and changes of China to the outside world with vivid images and stories, and serving as a witness of the country’s improvement in various fields including politics, economy, culture, and people’s livelihood.

　　Entering the 21st Century, China Pictorial has been developing rapidly. It operates a number of printed magazines including the Chinese and English versions of China Pictorial and the Russian and Korean versions of China, Vogue China (copyright cooperation with the American magazine Vogue), The New Silk Road Review, China-India Dialogue, as well as a multilingual online edition. In recent years, China Pictorial has planned and organized a series of picture exhibitions themed “Beautiful China, Beautiful World,” to celebrate significant bilateral and multilateral diplomatic events. These exhibitions held in different countries have introduced China to the world, enhanced the understandings between China and those respective countries, and made China’s voice heard by more.

　　The Photo Exhibition “Beautiful China, Beautiful Switzerland” in Geneva

　　At the foot of the Alps with breath-taking views lies a country which cherishes and loves peace. This country is Switzerland.

　　At the eastern rim of Eurasia locates a country with a time-honored history. This country is China.

　　With Jungfrau and Matterhorn, Switzerland boasts amazing and precipitous mountains.

　　With the Yangtze and Yellow rivers, China is home to numerous picturesque waters.

　　It is not easy to get to know each other, and it is even harder to known each other deeper. Today, we showcase the pure natures, the lively societies, as well as the amazing cultures and peoples from both China and Switzerland with images.

　　Beautiful Switzerland and China are telling their respective touching stories. Hard-working peoples from both sides, with full wisdom, are building good lives with their own hands.

　　On January 10, 2017, the photo exhibition “Beautiful China, Beautiful Switzerland” planned and organized by China Pictorial Publications, China International Publishing Group, was held at the UN’s Palace of Nations, Geneva. The exhibition lasted for ten days.

　　With “Beautiful China, Beautiful Switzerland, China-Switzerland Friendship, China’s Construction Achievements” as its theme, the exhibition chose around 100 images to showcase the breathtaking landscapes as well as the amazing peoples and cultures from the two countries, and presented a chance for audience from both countries to better understand each other.

　　The exhibition is divided into three parts: “The Time-honored Friendship,” “Beautiful Landscape, Wise People,” and “The Chinses Dream, The World’s Dream,” telling China-Switzerland friendship, landscape, and China’s outstanding achievements from different perspectives. “The exhibition is splendid. I never thought that our two countries share so many similarities,” said one Swiss spectator.
